BLUE SKY DAY
Blue Sky Day is an uplifting acoustic track dedicated to those affected by breast cancer—fighters, survivors, and their loved ones. Originally recorded as a wedding gift for Elskan FLY’s best friend Aynslie and her husband Mike, the song carries themes of love, gratitude, and presence. With simple instrumentation—ukulele, guitar, and hand drumming—the track reflects a hopeful, grounded spirit.
Recorded at YORK Studio in Auckland just before its closure in 2011, the session was a meaningful and personal experience for the artist. The accompanying video by Clowmount visually honors the message of resilience and connection.
